For Sabir, building and starting Garlic Clove is the culmination of years of hard work. Living on the Gold Coast for over a decade, working in numerous restaurants and learning from the best has led him here: his first restaurant and grand plans for what is to come.

For Dolly, Garlic Clove is a family affair. Not only guiding and supporting her husband, Sabir, but collecting family recipes, handed down through the generations, to bring the restaurant to life at Ormeau Village.

There are generally two sittings per evening: 5:30pm to 7:30pm and 7:30pm to 9:30pm, however we continue to welcome guests who may have not made a booking.
